Original title:- BIOS windows 10/ 7
So first a little background,
Getting to the BIOS configuration settings on modern PCs running Microsoft Windows 10 is not an intuitive process. Here is how you do it. How to Change Computer BIOS Settings. This wikiHow teaches you how to access and modify your Windows computer's BIOS page. The BIOS is a set of built-in options that allows you to change system aspects like the data and time.
My emachine running windows 7 was running very slow . I decided to do a factory reset on it. Which I have done before. This time however my PC lost power and I came to find out the power plug was not fully inserted.
When I plugged it all the way back in. It showed the normal start up window that Had the logo and option to hit f12 or f2 from there I got a screen that read 'windows boot manger' Never seen this screen before. It read:
'windows failed to start. a recent hardware or software might be the cause' The then give instructions to insert the windows installation disk and if I don't have the disk, contact the manufacturer. I didn't have the disk. I contacted Microsoft and emachine who gave me no help. So I decided just to go buy windows 10 and install it, might as well update if I messed up the hard drive or something by losing power during the factory reset. I got windows 10 on a usb stick. I called Microsoft again and explained everything, asked if she could walk me thru what I needed to do she said 'its not that difficult sir' then just hung up on me. So I tried to figure it out alone, Initially when I put the windows 10 USB in , the computer would do the same thing show the logo then go to the windows boot manger error. I did research and someone online said I should disable the bios so it reads the usb first. I restarted and held f12. Whent to advanced BIOS and I think I disabled quick boot and quiet boot. After that the install fairly went smooth. I'm writing from the same computer now using windows 10, But now during start up there is no logo it shows 'American Megatrends'
then goes to a screen that has all kinds of info like the main processor, ATA (Pi) devices, PCI devices, then at the bottom has a countdown to boot with the option of hitting esc to boot . I don't want these screens to show .
Basically I want it to start how a regular windows 10 would. I think if I enable THE QUICK BOOT and QUIET BOOT It will go away, but I cant not find the options to do it. The original startup screen that said f12 or f2 doesn't come up it goes straight to American megatrends and the countdown to boot then starts windows 10.

Its also kind of running the same as before the failed factory reset on windows 7, lagging when typing just below average speed. Could malware or a virus still be on here from when I failed to do the factory reset completly? Im not really good with computer when it comes to advanced stuff but any help would be appreciated. I feel like something is corrupted .
