May 30, 2009 I've just installed Win 7 64-bit RC 7100 on my HP dv9894ca and met some troubles with my sound card. My sound card is 'conexant smartaudio 221' and during Win 7 installation I've got Microsoft High Definition Audio Device. With this driver my built-in mike is reachless and Control Panel-Speech Recognition fails.
- The package provides the installation files for Conexant HD SmartAudio 221 Driver version 4.36.7.60. If the driver is already installed on your system, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix various issues, add new functions, or just upgrade to the available version.
- Windows 10: Windows Update 1903 Conexant SmartAudio HD Discus and support Windows Update 1903 Conexant SmartAudio HD in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; I've just run the Windown 1903 update on my Lenovo PC and found that I have no sound.
